My CV

Professional Experience

The Glow Network

Recently I worked with a team to design a creative project for Northshore precinct with a budget of $40,000-70,000. Our team was one of two groups shortlisted to pitch our innovative idea to Economic Development Queensland. We also undertook a mentoring opportunity with industry partners. Ultimately, our creative project was selected for development by the client.

Northern Rivers Community Legal Centre

My visual communication skills have been used to create infographics and pamphlets for the centre. I also manage NRCLC’s social media by creating graphics and planning posts for Instagram and Facebook.

Brisbane Fashion Festival - Back of House

I steamed and ironed garments as well as making sure all zippers, buttons and closures were open. Next, I checked that all clothing, shoes, undergarments, hats, jewellery, bags and other accessories were present and organised. I listening to how the designers wanted their looks styled and I rapidly dressed and undressed models for the catwalk. The ensembles were then returned to the fitting room and packed into garment bags.

Fashion Stylist Skills

I have a certificate II in Hairdressing which means I am qualified to wash, colour and style hair. I also have completed work experience in a salon. I have been a makeup artist for a theatrical production of Aladdin in Lismore. Please see my ‘Projects’ and ‘Photography’ tab for looks that I have styled and photographed. My photographs were featured online and in the physical version of Frocket Magazine, a student magazine.

Fashion Illustration and Production

Previously, I have studied Fashion Design at TAFE and I currently study a Bachelor of Creative Industries majoring in Fashion Communication. I do both traditional and digital fashion illustrations. I create technical flats, swing tags and labels, brand statements, mood boards, and colour boards.

Vintage and Handmade Markets

Periodically I sell vintage clothing that I have sourced, up-cycled garments, and handmade jewellery at markets across Brisbane and Northern New South Wales (such as Lismore Market and Suitcase Rummage).

Future is Now: Exhibition Launch & Panel Event

I worked with a team to design, research and write an academic poster that discussed the use of recycled textiles within the fashion industry.
