In 2021, my fashion photographs were featured in Frocket Magazine accompanying the article “Textile Waste: The Next Steps Forward”. Frocket is a magazine produced by students in the unit Fashion and Style Journalism at Queensland University of technology.
My creative direction was inspired by sustainable fashion and the role of second-hand clothing. My styling of second-hand clothing aims to promote the mindful consumption of vintage and secondhand clothing as an alternative to fast fashion. I sourced all clothing sustainably, chose the set, styled the models hair, makeup and clothing, took the photographs and did after-production editing. These were featured online and in the physical version of the Magazine.
